Juan Pedro Ochoa

Juan Pedro Ochoa-Ricoux is an academic at the University of California, Irvine. He holds a PhD in physics from the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), worked as a postdoc at Berkeley Lab and later as an academic at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
His main area of research is neutrinos, which he studies through international experiments such as Daya Bay, JUNO and DUNE. He has also contributed to CERN's Atlas experiment and is a member of LiquidO, an international collaborative initiative to create a new neutrino detector that will pioneer the field.
