Matías Henríquez

Electrical Engineer

Matías Henríquez is an electrical engineer from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, with a sub-specialty in microelectronics. His studies have focused on the design of discrete and integrated analogue circuits such as filters, amplifiers, power supplies, converters and pulse processors, among others. He also has knowledge of digital electronics, microcontroller programming and FPGA design.

He has worked on the development and testing of sensors and applied technologies for agriculture at Agranimo (formerly known as IntelAg) and has developed a fully analogue ASIC(Applied Specific Integrated Circuit) pulse processor for calorimeters used in particle physics experiments. He has also designed filters, amplifiers and buffers to process pulses of very short duration, with peaking time between 100-150ns with very low noise.
