During the week of June 5-9, some of the world's most
renowned scientists and academics are gathering in London to participate in CERN's Future Circular
Collider project, FCC 2023.

Francisca Garay, Ph.D., Alternate Director of the Millennium Institute SAPHIR is
participating in the prestigious event. This internationally renowned meeting
is held in London and brings together leading scientists and researchers from around the world
in the field of particle physics.
The importance of the event lies not only in the enormous international collaboration that
brings together 150 universities, research institutes and industry but also in
being at the forefront of the world's most important experiments such as the
creation of future colliders that integrate more technology and allow to give
continuity to the experiments and efforts that have been made so far, but also
advance to make a new physics that manages to answer the questions that still
have no answer.
This instance provides a unique platform for the exchange of knowledge, the
discussion of leading research and the establishment of collaborations with the
scientific community.
"Participation in the FCC Future Circular Collider is a significant milestone for us,"
said Dr. Garay. "It allows us to establish links with renowned experts and to be
aware of the most recent advances in particle physics. This positions us to
continue contributing to the development of science and technology in this field."
Garay's participation reaffirms SAPHIR's commitment to continue pushing the
boundaries of knowledge in particle physics.
